This week Carlos Whittaker really hit me with this blog post:

Anxiety/Depression… The Church’s Dirty Little Secret was a relief to read.  I mean, it’s unfortunate that Carlos Whittaker has anxiety.  I understand what that’s like, but I really dislike that it’s something that is hush hush in church.  I was ostracized as a teen in youth group because of anxiety issues I had.  Sometimes they re-visit.  I don’t believe that it’s because you lack a strong relationship with God or you let your emotions get the best of you, or other statements that people like to say.  If anything, the anxiety I had, and sometimes have, helps me become closer to God.  It makes me more aware of things that He should be invited to attend as well.

Sarah takes a picture everyday and shares it with the world.  We’ve never met in person, but she’s one of the neatest and sweetest peeps I’ve met in this world.

It’s summer time and I’d love to make some Layered Peanut Brittle Ice Cream Pops.

On the other hand, it’s summer and it’s a good thing I’m single because I’d eat this Fresh Garlic Confit on EVERYTHING.
