I really like the brand Korres. They have a beautiful lip balm that is my American equivalent to the UK Vaseline Rose lip balm, great lotions, and body wash. I’ve never tried their make-up or skin care before and I’m not about to, but this product was a great skin care whim!
I used the Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel once before (several months ago) and liked it, but didn’t really notice much of a difference after using it. Recently, I was desperate to try something other than lather coconut oil on my face and have it stay on for awhile, as my skin was dry and lacked a lot of moisture (an extremely rare issue!). I found this in my drawer and decided to give it another go.
Man, am I glad that I did!
This peel really moisturized my face and left my skin feeling so so so soft. The soft feeling lasted a few days, which surprised me because my skin is oily. I used this 3 times in a two week period and it really assisted with my dry skin issue. My skin was bright, soft, hydrated and the product worked great with my sensitive acne prone skin.
Rose is very healing for the skin and almost any product that truly uses rose petals/water/oil will be great for skin. Aloe is also a main ingredient and it’s not like the obnoxious aloe gel you find for sunburns during the summer time. This is real, true aloe that glides right onto your face and soothes the dryness.
I think this product would be great for any skin type. Again, I like Korres and like their lip and body products, but haven’t try enough of there skin products… YET. After the results of this product, I would say that I am interested in checking out their moisturizers. I won’t give up my oil cleansing routine any time soon, but I do know that I’ll need to peruse the moisturizers as the weather starts to get cooler. My skin is sensitive to products and I’ve had numerous nightmares trying out various products. That’s why I rather spend money on a product at a department store/Sephora, where I know I can return the product if I don’t like it, rather than try a lot of cheap products that collect in a drawer.
I plan on re-purchasing this product, especially during the winter!
Have you tried any Korres products or have a favorite of theirs?
